• Superdry, the celebrated brand from the U.K., has opened its U.S. flagship store right here in NoHo! Selling a fresh collection of women’s and men’s clothing, footwear, bags and accessories, Superdry is collecting its share of fans, including superstars like Zac Efron, Ryan Phillipe and Shakira. The style is rugged yet urbane, with a vintage look inspired by the fashion and arts scenes in Tokyo. This particular Superdry retail store is the only one in New York City, so be sure stop by and browse.
• In just a short time, the store has generated lots of buzz in its beautifully constructed space. Superdry launched with an opening party that attracted fashion insiders and buyers to the neighborhood to mingle and browse. Featuring exposed brick and raw ceilings, the store is built especially with the conscious New York shopper in mind. • Hanover Gourmet Deli, a family-run enterprise, is building its new store at 648 Broadway! A major selling point was the landmarked building’s charm, according to the landlord’s representatives Yair Staav and Peter Weisman of Lansco Corporation. “We were excited by Hanover Gourmet’s artful and inventive aesthetic, both in its interiors and its high-quality food, and we believe it will complement the building’s original turn-of-the-century details.”Hanover Gourmet’s arrival brings even more food options to Broadway, great news for those who live, work and study in NoHo. • Another major city infrastructure project taking place in NoHo will also see decreased activity next month. The Department of Design and Construction has announced that they will ease up on water main installation during the holiday season. NOHO NY has posted the DDC Newsletter on the website, with updated information on street closures and water shut-downs.

The BID is seeking comments from neighborhood residents, businesses and property owners about expanding the NOHO NY BID and its community services from its current boundaries to the Bowery. The Steering Committee, made up of members of the expansion area, have prepared information relating to the expansion, including all of the services that the neighborhood can expect to receive.
